This site is dedicated to my Grandfather, who disappeared after returning from WWI. He fought for my freedom which I know does not come without cost. I am eternally grateful for his efforts and what he stood for. I love you Grandad, good on ya mate. FOR KING & COUNTRY. R.I.P. Albert Alfred Curry.

Battle maps show what movements took place during the engagementAfter finding the units and battle dates you can now look up the locations and various battle maps. Every battle in war has a different outcome. To know the positions and movements of your soldiers units during an engagement can give you a better understanding of what events took place. Battalions, Brigades and Divisions are used most commonly on maps to show numbers of people involved. Some battle maps can be found online but most are best illustrated in history books.
