This is a new project on their website that has three new ways to commemorate the original Anzacs. This will also help in the future link a Photograph to a Service Record
Mapping our Anzacs
Find a service person and see their service record
Is another method of finding a Defence Service Record by birthplace or enlistment.
A world map will come up starting with Australia. Click on the flags that show the location of where you believe they were born (red flags) or enlisted (Blue flags)
Add a note or photograph to the scrapbook
Having found a service person of interest, you can add your own note or photograph to
the digital scrapbook. You’ll need to be registered and logged in to use this part of the website.
Build a tribute to people important to you
A third way to use Mapping our Anzacs is to build your own tribute to a group of service personal. They may be from your town: they may be your ancestors: or they may be a combination. Again you’ll need to registered and logged in to use this part of the website.
